Esprit expands with West Brom warehouse

A warehouse in West Bromwich has been sold to local fit-out company Esprit UK.

Property agent on the transaction, Bond Wolfe, said there was “buoyant demand” for Black Country warehouses. The deal was struck within two weeks of it going on the market.

The 2,500 sq ft complex, made up of a warehouse and yard at the corner of Bell Street and Spon Lane, is situated close to the new Sandwell College.

Esprit is based in Spon Lane on the town ring road and was seeking additional storage space, Bond Wolfe added.

“This is further evidence of strong industrial demand locally,” said Bond Wolfe managing partner James Mattin. “It has been bought as part of Esprit UK’s ongoing expansion.”

Esprit managing director Trevor Dubberley added: “As a result of our manufacturing expansion and current demands for export joinery we are looking for additional warehousing.”

Law firm QualitySolicitors Clarke Brookes Turner Carey acted for the seller and Millichips for Esprit UK.
