Expansion boxed off for Warren Board Sales
A Leicester supplier of carton board packaging has expanded into new premises in West Bromwich following the purchase of plant equipment with financial support from Barclays.
Warren Board Sales, which is based in Leicester, have purchased machinery from Reno Di Medici in Wednesbury.
This enables the business to expand its range of services including reel-to-sheet, rewinding and guillotining, as well as providing needed storage capacity.
The company has expanded into a 43,000 sq ft facility at The Hill Top Estate in West Bromwich where, going forward, it will operate under the name Warren Converters.
Managing director Kieran Ferguson said: “This move and acquisition represent the next stage of Warren’s growth plans.
“As an independent company with access to a far wider range of products than were previously available, we believe we will be able to introduce a service that will be second to none in the industry thereby increasing opportunities for both customers and suppliers alike.”
Funding for the purchase of the equipment was provided by Barclays. Dave Morgan, relationship director at Barclays in Leicester, added: “The directors of Warren Board Sales identified an opportunity to acquire the assets of a complementary business in the West Midlands.
“It was important for the transaction to take place quickly in order to maintain supplies to existing clients.”
