The HMRC’s National Minimum Wage team has partnered with the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority and the Employments Agency Standards Inspectorate to highlight and explain some of the key things businesses need to consider to ensure their workers’ rights are protected.

On Tuesday 19 July at 10.30am there will be a free webinar to highlight some of the important issues, and to help businesses avoid making mistakes. Topics covered will include how to avoid national minimum wage underpayments, how to spot modern slavery and the legal responsibilities employers have when using agency staff. There will be experts on hand to answer questions, and to offer advice on how to put right any potential errors.
