Freight and deliveries during the Commonwealth Games
The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games is going to bring thousands of athletes, visitors and business to our region in July and August, and is likely to have a big effect on transport and delivery services.
Transport for West Midlands is hosting a webinar aimed at freight and delivery companies likely to be affected by the traffic management measures, parking restrictions and road changes around the various competition venues.
The online event is free to join and will take place at 10am on Tuesday 5 April. It’s a chance for couriers, logistics companies, haulage firms and delivery drivers to find out how they can continue to operate across the West Midlands during the games, and what support is available to help plan ahead.
