Have your say on Black Country transport strategy
The Black Country’s Ultra Low Emission Vehicle Strategy is out for consultation, and wants your input.
Black Country Transport, a strategic partnership between Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton councils, has prepared a short questionnaire for businesses in the region, to gauge responses to its plans to reduce vehicle emissions and improve air quality.
The main aim of the strategy is to encourage more people to use ULEVs in advance of a proposed nationwide ban on the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles in 2035. The Black Country proposals overlap the West Midlands strategy and our regional councils are keen to ensure a joined-up approach which centres the needs of residents and businesses.
By taking just fifteen minutes to complete the survey, you can help shape the final policy document and make sure the Black Country’s transport plans work for everyone.
For more information, and to complete the questionnaire, go to the consultation website. And please spread the word across your Sandwell networks – the more people that take part, the better the final strategy will reflect the needs of the borough.
