Pure Offices is an independent serviced office company that runs environmentally-focused business centres across the UK. Backed by a long-term funding agreement with property management firm Highcross, Pure Offices now operates from 11 business centres across the country in prime locations including Birmingham, Oxford and Farnborough.
Last summer, Pure Offices announced that it would be expanding its portfolio with the opening of a new property in Oldbury. Offering contemporary, unfurnished office space the purpose-built building was officially launched during November 2011 in a ceremony attended by the Mayor of Sandwell.
I caught up with centre manager Stella Broster to find out a bit more about the new serviced offices and how the business centre has been performing since its launch last year. Stella told me that three new clients have already moved into the building and, with a number of occupiers looking to take space early this year, business is looking healthy.
New office tenants include NorthgateArinso, a global human resources services provider with a presence in fifty cities across the world. Wewantanycar.com and also Smart Solutions, one of the fastest growing flexible recruitment businesses in the UK.
I asked Stella what she thinks makes the new Oldbury offices stand out from those of nearby competitors. She told me: “Our centre is a modern, spacious, beautiful place to work. There is, quite simply, nothing of the same high specification in the local area.”
Prominently located on Broadwell Road, the offices are minutes from junction 2 of the M5. There are a plethora of modern business facilities available on site including free car parking and dedicated leased line providing high-speed, stable broadband and low cost phone calls. All clients are also offered a monthly rolling licence fee meaning that, in these uncertain economic times, companies do not have to commit to a long, expensive lease.
Hoping to get 2012 off to a flying start, Stella is currently offering a discount to new clients who sign up at the start of the year. Exclusive deals are also available to start-up companies, helping to encourage the success of new businesses in the area.
Finally I asked Stella what her hopes are for the centre during the forthcoming year. She said: “We hope new occupiers will continue to join Pure Offices, Oldbury. We are aiming to be the serviced office centre of choice for ambitious, professional businesses in the Black Country.”
