#madeinsandwell Monday supports Black Country Day
This week we’re giving over our #madeinsandwell Monday space to promote Black Country Day, which takes place this Friday (14 July).
As you may know, Think Sandwell’s aim with #madeinsandwell Monday is to celebrate everything great that has been manufactured, engineered, produced, grown, devised, dreamed up and delivered in the borough of Sandwell.
Black Country Day celebrates the diversity and strength of business in the wider Black Country, and is championed by the Black Country LEP alongside all four Black Country local authorities (Dudley Council, Sandwell Council, Walsall Council and Wolverhampton City Council). With such similar aims, it seems only right that we get behind it too!
As in previous years, the Black Country LEP is running a social media campaign from its Twitter account (@blackcountrylep), encouraging local businesses to take to Twitter on Friday (14 July 2017) and share pictures celebrating their products, workplaces and staff members.
If you decide to take part, include the hashtag #MadeInTheBlackCountry along with any others which might apply (such as #manufacturing, #engineering, or even #madeinsandwell if you can squeeze it in) and don’t forget to tag @officialBCday. That way your message can be retweeted and shared with a wider audience, casting an international spotlight on your business and the Black Country as a whole.
We look forward to seeing your tweets. We’ll be sharing some of our previous #madeinsandwell Monday star profiles over the day too . . .
