New lettings on Black Country trading estate
Two major new leases have been taken out on Wednesbury Trading Estate, which lies half a mile from Wednesbury town centre and just two miles from junction 9 of the M6.
The deals, brokered by Black Country property specialists Bulleys, bring cleaning supplies company Cherwell and plastic sheet manufacturer Irpen to the region.
Cherwell is one of the UK’s leading distributors of hygiene, catering and cleaning products. Its customers include schools, universities, bars, hotels, restaurants, surgeries, hospitals and vets. Based in Southam, Warwickshire, the company will now also occupy over 8,000 square feet in Wednesbury.
The Irpen Group is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of cast acrylic sheet. Based in Manchester with manufacturing plants in Barcelona and Girona, its new lease in the Black Country covers units totalling over 16,000 square feet of space.
Wednesbury Trading Estate has recently benefited from new electric gates and upgraded CCTV system. This, together with its location just off the A41, means that it is an attractive prospect for potential tenants, and there is good interest in Block P – over 46,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, which has recently come on the market.
