Every year the BCTG Group, based on Taylors Lane in Oldbury, helps over 10,000 young people and adults develop their skills and knowledge through a huge variety of learning initiatives.

BCTG is a ‘one stop shop’ which supports and develops individuals and employers, helping to improve social mobility and boost the regional economy. It works with over two thousand employers and key stakeholders across the West Midlands, East Midlands and North West to provide local solutions to regional skills gaps.

One example of the work they do is their recent partnership with the Hipster Group, a chain of barbers and hairdressers with five sites across the West Midlands. BCTG will be delivering a range of government-funded training programmes to the Hipster Group’s staff, developing their skills and career prospects.
