Reduce waste, save money, share resources: attend this resource matching workshop
Does your company have redundant or unwanted resources that you currently dispose of?
Is there a certain resource that your company is trying to get its hands on?
Would you like innovative ways to reduce waste and save money while being environmentally friendly?
On Thursday 27 May EnTRESS (in partnership with International Synergies) is holding a resource matching workshop, bringing together businesses with a common goal: to save money by improving the way they manage resources and waste materials.
The aim of the event is to help attendees identify new opportunities between their businesses, through the matching of resources, including waste, logistics and expertise.
The EnTRESS team will facilitate an online interactive session that allows companies o exchange details about waste streams they ‘have’ on site or ‘want’ as a resource. You will also hear from Victoria Rabin, Waste & Resources Lead from Balfour Beatty Vinci, about the materials efficiency work her team is undertaking for HS2.
This event is suitable for companies with unwanted waste/resources, recyclers, and waste management organisations.
It takes place tomorrow (Thursday 27 May) from 10am to 11.30am on Zoom and is free to attend. Go to the booking link at Eventbrite.
EnTRESS stands for Environmental Technologies and Resources Efficiency Support Services. Based at the University of Wolverhampton, it uses academic research to support Black Country SMEs with adopting environmental technologies and resource efficiency processes.
