Indian restaurant group Saffron, has launched its third outlet in the heart of Birmingham’s business district. Saffron already runs restaurants in Worcester and Oldbury but it has now opened a new site at 126 Colmore Row, in the unit formerly occupied by Caffè Uno. Saffron has taken an undisclosed lease on the 2,690 sq ft ground floor which has a 60-seat capacity. It will be led by chef Sudha Saha and serve contemporary Indian dishes with lunch, pre-theatre, a la Carte and five-course tasting menus which will change quarterly.
