Sandwell business features in national government social media

Tipton-based KMB Shipping, recently worked with national government to produce a video about trading with the EU.

Director Paul Hull, a Sandwell Business Ambassador, spoke in the video, issued by the Cabinet Office, offering practical advice to UK firms doing business with the European Union. Since the UK left the EU, many regulations and procedures have changed, and KMB has been helping its customers stay legally compliant and avoid paying unnecessary duties.

The freight forwarding company operates a worldwide business from its headquarters on Burnt Tree in Tipton. It was founded in 1987 and specialises in sea and air freight shipping, European logistics, bulk haulage and UK transport services. In April 2021, KMB won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Excellence in International Trade, so is well-placed to offer advice.

It’s great to see Sandwell company being held up as an example on the national stage, and playing a part in helping other businesses smoothly navigate the transition out of the EU.
