Sandwell Council’s BIM Roadshows with Carillion & Laing O’Rourkes Design Teams
Sandwell Council’s monthly BIM Workshops with Carillion & Laing O’Rourke have become so popular that in March, we’re running two more morning sessions:
Attendees get to spend the morning with senior designers and BIM development experts from major contractors, plus meet some likeminded suppliers looking to get to grips with Building Information Modelling.
From 2016 all public sector capital build projects will have to be designed to Level 2 Building Information Modelling (BIM) compliance. This means SMEs who manufacture construction materials, carry out product installations or offer building support services need to be BIM ready and have their BIM adoption plans in place.
Sandwell Council’s BIM roadshows are ideal for business owners, directors, product designers and senior business development managers looking for direction. As part of a small group, you’ll gain essential knowledge on developing a BIM execution plan and where this emerging technology fits within your business. Find out how BIM could significantly increase your market reach and help you exploit new markets.
As well as a complimentary buffet lunch, there will be plenty of networking time – plus the chance to spend the whole morning with some of the designers involved in key design considerations for the new £353m Midland Metropolitan Hospital.
