Second lockdown: we are here for you, Sandwell

As England braces for a second national lockdown (starting on Thursday 5 November) to curb the spread of coronavirus, we just want to let you know that – as always – Think Sandwell is here for our Sandwell business community.

One half of the image shows a model of the earth with a banner around it saying Covid-19, the other half has text on a white background saying "Local business support during the global coronavirus crisis".We have been updating our coronavirus business support pages since March and, this week, dealing with rapidly changing information to direct you to the latest guidance and resources.

Here is the general government guidance on the new lockdown restrictions.

Please read the government list of businesses and venues that must close from Thursday 5 November.

We will bring you further information and clarifications when we have them.

Please remember that, until 5 November, Sandwell is classed as Local Covid Alert Level 2 (HIGH) and existing local restrictions must be adhered to.

If you have two or more Covid-19 cases in your workplace, report to PHCovid19_Enquiries@sandwell.gov.uk for support, without delay.
