The West Midlands Combined Authority is hosting a free Skills Recovery webinar to show SMEs what support is available from the government to help businesses recruit and upskill employees.

The webinar takes place on Wednesday 30 June and features experts from across the West Midlands region who will be exploring government initiatives and grants to help develop both short and long-term skills plans for your workforce.

The webinar will be divided into four sections – recovery, response, resilience and rethink – these will be informative sessions, covering recruitment and succession planning, career progression opportunities, and future workforce planning around skills.

The aim is to help you find out more about bringing in new talent, diversifying your business, or upskilling your existing workforce, as well as looking at what funding is available to help businesses recover from the pandemic.
