Strategic Economic Plan draft submitted to Government
A draft version of the Black Country Strategic Economic Plan has been submitted to the Government by the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership and can be viewed or downloaded online right now.
The programme proposed within the draft Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) is structured around three core areas of activity, which form the golden thread of the SEP:
-Business, competitiveness and the economy
-People, skills and employability
-Place, including sites for employment and housing, infrastructure and the environment
The final document has to be submitted by March 31, 2014, following feedback from Whitehall.
The document can be viewed or downloaded from the main Strategic Economic Plan page of the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership website.
Any organisations that wish to comment on the draft plan prior to its finalisation can contact the Black Country LEP online. Please clearly mark your message with the heading ‘Strategic Economic Plan’.
