Street food vendors wanted
Sandwell Council is looking for street food vendors that can bring something unique and unusual to West Bromwich town centre.
Princess Parade is on the walkway between Kings Square and Queens Square, and is one of the busiest areas of the town. It is currently undergoing major improvements as part of the the Urban Greening Project, an initiative to enhance West Bromwich town centre with more green spaces and infrastructure.
Vendors interested in a pitch would have trade from Monday to Saturday. They would need to set up before 9am, take down their pitch after 5pm, and pay around £30 a day for Street Trading Consent. Gas and electricity appliances would have to be fully risk assessed and safety certified.
Pitches come with a parking permit, and Sandwell Council is particularly interested in vendors offering unique, unusual and exotic dishes.
