Submissions are open for the SEUK awards
Social enterprises in Sandwell have until Friday 30 June to showcase their successes by entering the UK Social Enterprise Awards 2023. Think Sandwell is urging all eligible organisations in the borough to take the opportunity to shout about the great work they do for our communities, our social economy and the planet.
The SEUK awards are the UK’s biggest celebration of businesses that make a difference to the world by tackling social and environmental issues, both nationally and globally. There are 15 categories, which celebrate the breadth and diversity of the importance and impact of social enterprise.

The categories are:
- Prove It: Social Impact
- ‘Buy Social’ – Market Builder
- Social Investment Deal of the Year
- Public Services Social Enterprise
- Consumer Facing Social Enterprise
- Education, Training & Jobs Social Enterprise
- Environmental Social Enterprise
- Social Enterprise Building Diversity, Inclusion, Equity & Justice
- Social Enterprise Women’s Champion
- International Impact
- Community-based social enterprise
- Social Enterprise Innovation of the Year
- Tech for Good: Technology Social Enterprise
- One to Watch
- UK Social Enterprise of the Year
Organisations can apply for up to three awards, and for most categories, must be an independent business based in the UK with a clear social or environmental mission set out in its governing documents.
