Symphony Automation wins Low Carbon Innovation Award

Black Country based Symphony Automation were successful in winning the MEBC (Midland Environmental Business Club) low carbon innovation award at the 20th Anniversary dinner,  held at Birmingham City Council House on the 7Th December 2011.

The MEBC was formed in 1991 and actively promotes sustainable solutions and the benefits that can be gained from their use.

Symphony Automation gained the award in recognition for designing and commissioning a lighting control solution for Sainsbury’s PLC, as part of Sainsbury’s 20 by 20 sustainability plan. The solution which works on providing daylight savings is now installed in over 100 stores.The beauty of the solution is that it is achieving substantial savings with negligible impact on the visual aspect of the stores.

Director, Dave Rehman confirmed “Symphony Automation is a young company, but we are very excited by the results Sainsbury’s are achieving from our solution.  I am delighted the MEBC are acknowledging the value lighting automation can bring to a sustainable future”
