Think Sandwell at the Black Country Chamber’s mini expo
On Wednesday 30 January, Think Sandwell took part in the first of a new series of mini expos launched by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce.
The expo was a showcase and networking opportunity, held after office hours in Sandwell College’s impressive glass atrium on Spon Lane in West Bromwich [pictured].
We were joined on our stand by Sandwell Business Ambassadors John Wood of Liberty Engineering Group, Melvin Wingfield of A&M EDM, Alan Taylor of MiGlass and Mark Evans of Crowe UK. They were on hand to meet the region’s businesses and increase awareness of the ambassador network.
We were delighted to meet representatives of several up-and-coming businesses in the area, including two Sandwell-based SMEs that we now plan to feature in our #madeinsandwell Monday slot.
It’s great to meet new contacts and renew ties with existing friends and colleagues in person. We are always at the end of the phone or email when Sandwell businesses want to talk, but we believe you can’t beat face-to-face conversations for sparking ideas and building connections.
Our Business Development Coordinator Nicy Morgan is based at the Sandwell Business Solutions Centre at Sandwell College at various times during the week. You can contact us through our form to arrange a visit.
We list forthcoming expos and networking events on our business events calendar.
