Triple celebration for the Black Country Chamber of Commerce
Last week the BCCC celebrated three reasons to smile at one special event attended by over 50 local businesses.
The event was an opportunity to raise a glass to CSCM IT Solutions, the BCCC’s Member of the Week. The Oldbury company was simultaneously celebrating its 21st anniversary, and the occasion also saw the launch of The Business Hive, a cloud-based service offering a range of IT solutions.
Working with a network of providers and resellers across the world, The Business Hive allows companies to host their entire IT infrastructure in a safe cloud environment using secure UK-based data centres. It enables businesses to utilise a range of services, including offsite backup, email exchange and hosted desktop, as well as ongoing IT support and monitoring.
Established in 1995, CSCM IT Solutions uses cutting-edge technology to offer its customers bespoke support and advice to help them make informed decisions for their businesses. Speaking at the event, Jude Thompson, CSCM’s managing director, said: “In an increasingly interconnected world, it is important that businesses have the utmost confidence in their IT infrastructure, which is something that we aim to consistently deliver. The Business Hive will essentially provide any organisation with the best hosted and cloud based services on the market, utilising vast industry knowledge ensuring that all the features of an on-premise network are retained, with each solution being tailored to the needs of the client.”
Commenting on CSCM’s Member of the Week accolade, Jude said: “Through our membership of the Chamber, we’ve been able to form strong professional relationships with local businesses and have found the events both informative and well attended, providing an ideal opportunity to meet potential new customers. In particular, being a member of The Platinum Group has been a great way to increase our brand awareness throughout the region, and the support we’ve received from The Group has been a real asset to our success in recent years.”
Jude has recently been appointed as a member of the board and commented: “I look forward to working with the Chamber, our fellow members and the wider business community to help drive change for the region moving forwards.”
