German-owned skylight and ventilation group JET has added lighting manufacturer Xtralite to its portfolio in order to complement the work of its Wednesbury roofing firm, JET Cox.

JET Cox was founded by William Cox in 1928 and has been manufacturing rooflights since 1954. It relocated to Wednesbury in 2010 and became part of the JET Group the following year.

Xtralite was founded in 1993 and became the UK’s leading independent producer of rooflights within four years.

It is hoped that JET Cox, working in close partnership with Northumberland-based Xtralite, will be able to offer a wider range of services and extend their market position across the UK.
