Welsh car supermarket is crossing the border for the first time to launch its first store in England. The opening of the new car showroom on the former Carcraft site in Wednesbury will create around 200 new full-time jobs across sales, administration and vehicle preparation for the borough.

Work is about to start on the proposed extended route of the Midland Metro from Wednesbury to Brierley Hill. The Midland Metro Alliance (MMA) will begin to clear vegetation from overgrown areas of the disused former South Staffordshire Railway line in order to carry out comprehensive structural and environmental surveys.
