The West Midlands Combined Authority is putting £1.3m into a scheme to empower creative businesses to reach their full potential.

The Creative Scale Up Programme offers information and advice on accessing finance, marketing and branding, pricing, intellectual property and contract law, as well as pitching and presenting creative work. Businesses on the programme will be allocated a dedicated business coach and mentor, and will be given introductions to potential investors.

The two-year, government-funded programme is currently recruiting for its second cohort, which is due to start in March. To get an overview of the workshops that form part of the programme, you can download a timetable of the sessions from November 2019 through to May 2020 here.
