The EU Referendum has, over recent months, been the biggest cause of media headlines and polarised debate in many years, and as we head towards 23rd June 2016 the country appears split, with large numbers still undecided.
The results of this seminal vote will have an impact on our country for generations, especially in the Midlands as the UK’s productive manufacturing heartland. Many are still asking for greater clarity and information. As West Midlands Liberal Democrats are keen to Stay In the EU, whilst also keen to promote real opportunities for debate and discussion around this vital topic – open to all interested parties.
West Midlands Liberal Democrats are therefore delighted to invite you to join our Intogether Referendum discussion with Lord Fox, of Leominster, Herefordshire, who will put the case for Britain to Stay In.

He studied Chemistry, is an Associate of the Royal College of Science and a past President of Imperial College Students’ Union.
Amongst Lib Dems, Chris is best known as having been the CEO of the party during the 2010 election and into the first two years of coalition. With the UK’s EU referendum fast approaching, we’ve got an event to give you all the facts from both sides of the debate. The great British public need to have their say on whether we stay or leave the European Union!

The panel will be chaired by freelance journalist and Brussels expert Frances Robinson, and will include prominent politicians Sir Bill Cash and Gisela Stuart, as well as international business consultant Vicky Pryce.
Panellists for both the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ camps will all be striving to put their argument forward as to why the UK should – or shouldn’t – stay a part of the EU
